I received a 2pk Magnetic back of these DaysAgo Digital counters From DaysAgo. I love them they make it so much easier to keep track of things. I have used them so far to track how many days ago I have put left over foods in the fridge. They are very easy to use and track the days and hours that have elapsed so that you can keep from using bad foods that can grow mold causing you to get very sick if eaten without knowing it is there. These DaysAgo digital counters can be used for lots of different things such as sauces and salsa, baby foods and formula, expressed milk, eggs, olive oil, soy milk, ground coffee, meats and fish, heath and beauty regiments, contact lens ( tracking of their age), for your pets medications, to water of your plants, for tracking when your next car oil change is due, when your water filter needs changed, any time - based projects and lots more. They come in (2) Two per pack assorted colors and (3) Three attachment back styles such as Magnet, Suction and Band. the battery is replaceable with a G8 type battery. They are only an inch circular in size. I would recommend to anyone one to have a bunch of these around timing everything that needs to be timed to stay healthy and safe.
In their words, Now you know with DaysAgo --- It counts the days, so you don't have to. For food and everything else in your life that needs tracking. The many uses of the DaysAgo make it a great gift for any busy household. Families have discovered that it's the household tool they've been missing.
And I agree 100% with what they say. So get as many as you may need today from DaysAgo.
DaysAgo Digital Day Counter Wins, Two Prestigious Awards in the
2010 Creative Child & Baby Maternity Awards.
DaysAgo honored with a 2010 “Top Choice of the Year” award
and the 2010 “Seal of Excellence” from Creative Child Magazine
Saint Helena, CA, July 2010 – The DaysAgo Digital Day Counter, made by double u products inc., has won important two awards from the 2010 Creative Child Magazine’s Creative Child & Baby Maternity Awards Program. The awards program uses over a hundred reviewers consisting of parents, educators, and education professionals to select outstanding products in a variety of categories.
The DaysAgo was selected to receive the coveted “Top Choice of the Year” Award in the Parenting Aids category, rising above the hundreds of other product submissions in the category to become the reviewers’ top choice.
The DaysAgo was also awarded the “Seal of Excellence” in the Parenting Aids category, recognizing the gadget for exceeding expectations for nurturing creativity and education in children and families.
The DaysAgo removes the guesswork of knowing how many days ago you opened a food container and provides a little sanity for new parents trying to remember how long it's been since they opened new food, expressed milk or made formula. By counting up days, it can track foods that spoil quickly (such as baby food, sauces, salsas, and more), helping families eliminate waste and save money. Its digital screen can easily affix to any type of container via magnet, suction cup, or band. It can also be used to track household chores such as plant care, health regimens, pet medication, water filter replacements, and any other repeated task.
“We are thrilled to have the DaysAgo recognized by Creative Child Magazine’s awards program,” says Kathleen Whitehurst, president of double u products inc. “We are honored that all the parents, educators, and education professionals who review the hundreds of product submissions chose the DaysAgo to receive these awards.”
All 2010 award winners will be announced on http://www.creativechild.com and in the Nov-Dec 2010 Holiday issue of Creative Child Magazine.

I would love to win this! We are always windering how long this jar or that jar has been in the fridge, and wether or not it's ok to eat!

I would love this for the onion chip dip I make with sour cream and onion soup. We never know the date of the sour cream after the container has been tossed out.

Oh I would love to have this. We throw out so much food it's pitiful. I just hate to waste but can't ever seem to write anything on the leftovers or especially meat when taken out of freezer.
